Album Cover

This album cover design falls under the genre of Alternative rock. I didn't include a whole heap of colour because I just wanted to make it simple. I basically just done some photography with my friend and used the graphic tablet I have at home and drew on a different layer in Photoshop. My inspiration draws from Carlos Matias. He tends to draw his designs on faces aswell. Yeah, most of the work was done by the graphic tablet and a bit of adjustment to the colour, contrast and brightness.

I created this short clip using Photoshop. I didn't do much to it. I basically just made it fade in and out by reducing the capacity of each word. I created 3 layers of different text in different colors and combined them all to create my full name. I found it quite confusing at first but after a while and maybe a bit more practice I should be alright.

Assignment.

My definition of rubbish is basically anything that has been thrown away, old and worn out or anything that is not usable anymore. I seem to have a lot of rubbish around my house so I took some photographs from broken bikes to old tubes and equipments that's never touched. Then I began to work on my assignment. Using Photoshop I Created a few different layers of rubbish. After that using the font " Haettenschweiler " I created my text. Simply using the magic wand to "select"and "delete" the areas where I wanted to reveal the rubbish. Rubbish to me is something dirty and old so using the paint brush I tried to achieve the rusty dirty look.

Toast For Dinner

 

I have chosen an image of toast on google and also a background. Using Photoshop I have adjusted the lighting of the background making it more darker around the corners. I have cropped out the toast and pasted it onto the background. To finalize it I have resized the toast and also making another copy to create two pieces. Then merging the layers down together. After having done that, by clicking on Hue/Saturation I have also adjusted the darkness and colour of the toast so it can blend into the background making it look more realistic. I have also started on another layer adding a man into the picture...
